Does it need inflating?

No. It uses an air-free solid foam core, so there is no pump and no valve. It works straight out of the bag.

What weight is it designed for?

6–18 kg, about 3–24 months. Choose by weight first and use age only as a guide. If your baby is under 6 kg, they are not ready for this float yet.

Is it an approved life jacket?

No. It is a swimming aid for use with an adult within arm's reach, and it does not protect against drowning. If you need a device rated to save a life, buy a PFD certified to the relevant Australian standard.

Will my baby tip forward in it?

The weighted tail clips to the back and helps the float sit level rather than nose-down. Fasten every harness strap before the water and keep a hand near for the first few minutes.

Can I use it without the canopy?

Yes. The canopy clips off for indoor pools or cloudy days, and the float works the same without it.

What is the difference between the designs?

The print and the colour. Every chest float in our range shares the same solid foam core, adjustable harness, removable UPF 50+ canopy and weighted tail.

How do I clean and store it?

Rinse in fresh water after every swim, especially after salt water or chlorine, and dry flat in the shade.

How does delivery work?

Shipping is free and tracked Australia-wide. Your tracking number is emailed as soon as your order ships.

What if it isn't right for us?

Contact us within 14 days of receiving it to start a return. Change-of-mind returns need the item back in original condition and packaging; return postage is paid by you. Faulty items are covered by your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

What does the 2-year warranty cover?

Defects in material or workmanship for 2 years from purchase. We repair or replace the product. Damage from misuse is not covered. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. This warranty is in addition to those rights.

Follow the supplied instructions and keep constant, close adult supervision within arm's reach. Never leave a child unattended in or near water, even for a moment.
