Air-free foam core
Solid foam rather than an air chamber — no pump, no valve, nothing to inflate at the pool gate.
Double-lock back buckle
Fastens behind the shoulders, where a child cannot reach it themselves.
Arms free to paddle
Buoyancy sits on the chest and upper arms, so the stroke is not blocked and they can learn the movement.

Fasten it snug enough that it does not ride up over the chin when your child is upright in the water, and loose enough for two fingers under the strap.
The three stages
Full vest. Armbands attached to the chest float. The most support, for a child who is new to the water.
Armbands only. Detach the chest piece once they are holding their own position and want more freedom.
Chest float only. The last step before swimming unaided — support at the chest, arms completely free.

- Check the buckle before every use.
- Use only within the stated weight and chest range.
- Not for use in open water, surf, or moving water.
- Move to a lesser stage only when your child is genuinely ready, not by age.
Questions parents ask
How do I know when to move to the next stage?
When your child is comfortable and controlled for a whole session at the current stage, and asking for more freedom. There is no age that says so — go by what you see.
Will it hold a 35 kg child?
35 kg is the top of the range. At that weight check the chest measurement too; if it is over 70 cm the fit will be wrong even if the weight is right.
Can my child take it off themselves?
The buckle is at the back with a double lock, which is deliberately awkward for a child to reach. It is not a substitute for supervision.
Does it need inflating?
No. Solid foam throughout, ready straight from the bag.
