Swimming aid — not a life-saving device. It does not protect against drowning. Continuous adult supervision within arm's reach is required at all times.

A non-inflatable seated float for babies from 4 to 18 months. Baby sits through a supported seat with a breathable crotch strap, armpit pads and a padded backrest, under a removable canopy. Solid foam — nothing to inflate.

Supported seat

A breathable crotch panel and armpit pads hold baby upright rather than letting them slip down.

Adjustable seat depth

The seat pocket zips to sit baby higher or lower in the water — 28 cm zipped, 32 cm unzipped.

Removable, foldable canopy

Up for sun, folded away or off entirely for an indoor pool.

Air-free foam core

Pearl foam inside a waterproof outer. No pump, no valve.

This is a seated float, not a chest float. Baby sits upright through the seat rather than lying on their front, which suits a different stage — 4 to 18 months.

Questions parents ask

How is this different from the chest float?

Baby sits upright through a seat rather than lying on their front. It suits babies with steady head and trunk control, from around four months.

What does the zip do?

It changes how deep the seat sits, so baby can be higher in the water at first and lower as they get more confident.

Does it need inflating?

No. Solid foam throughout.

Settling baby into
the seat float

1

Check they are ready

A seated float needs steady, independent head and upper-body control. If your baby still needs support to sit, wait.

2

Set the seat shallow first

Start with the seat zipped at 28 cm so baby sits higher in the water. Unzip to 32 cm as they get steadier.

3

Lower baby in, legs through

One leg at a time through the openings, arms resting on the armpit pads, back against the pillow.

4

Check the crotch panel

It should be flat and comfortable underneath, not twisted. This is the part that stops baby sliding down.

5

Canopy up, and stay in reach

Ten minutes to start. Keep one hand's distance the whole time — a swimming aid never replaces supervision.
